Through all my losses and trials in life I have found one constant, God’s love. He protects me, calms my soul, gives me purpose. Growing in and through Him I have tried to show here. Journey with me and may you too be consumed by His love. And Akalesh? What in the world does that word mean? Consuming fire of God.

Life is a challenge, a change, a conflict from inside and outside, continual growth or stagnation, and confrontation of good and evil. I hope that a few of these words will help the warrior inside of you find the truth of God’s word and prepare you for the battle, because I know who wins…Jesus!

I battle every day with sorrows, mud, guilt, and dirt thrown at us from life in general and from the evil in this day. In these extreme times we need a reminder that God, all powerful, knows and sees and is concerned with this time and with us, individually. Only with His love and mercy and grace will we survive the on-slaught of what is coming. The ride may be rough, a total insane roller coaster, but remember who wins, and those who win, win it all. So, armed with prayer, humility knowing that I am no one special except the fact that God made me and knew me before I was born, and the hope that somehow, somewhere these words and thought and stories may encourage your soul. I have tried to choose my words carefully because they have power over life and over death, good or bad, joy or anger, peace or sorrow of your soul. What you say, confess, repeat to yourself and to others is what you will reap. Plant well.

I am a Jesus follower. I believe God is real. I believe in the Bible. I believe that every person was created for a purpose. I believe we are here in this time of history for a reason. I believe every person has a story. Tell your story!

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

John 14:6

For it is by grace you have been save, through faith — and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:8-10

Let us go boldly before the throne of God and ask for His protection and knowledge and wisdom for our lives.
